I am incredibly blessed and humbled to announce that for three months, I will be living in Guangzhou, China and teaching Jazz, Pom, and Hip Hop at the Varsity Cheerleading Academy. While instructing classes and coaching the dance teams, I look forward to combining my past pedagogy with new knowledge, enforcing both our established Universal Dance Association curriculum and my own teaching strategies. This adventure is my absolute dream job and I am still pinching myself to prove that it is a reality! I am so blessed to be a part of the Varsity family and have been offered the chance to work in this incredible facility here in China.

I am thankful for the support and positive influence from friends, family, and teachers back home as I take on this new role. Words cannot express my genuine gratitude for their willingness to help me with whatever needed in order to make this possible. There is no doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am today without them. They have pushed me and encouraged me to be the person and dance educator that I have become and I cannot wait to put their influence and inspiration to good use over the course of these three months.
