From The Inside Out

IMG_5340As a Freshman in The Ohio State University Department of Dance, I have gained so much from just these past two semesters. With fresh eyes and an open mind, I have learned from both faculty and my peers and have developed the tools to further myself as a technician, as an artist, and as a person. It has been a whirlwind, but one that I will always remember and would never trade for anything.

Over the past month, I have had the honor of working with Elijah Palnik to bring my perspective to the surface in order to share it with the larger community of prospective dancers and artists in general. To be able to shed light on the Department that has already given me so much has been an immense blessing, and I cannot thank Palnik and the rest of the faculty enough for giving me this opportunity.

IMG_5338The final product, shown below, truly amazes me. From the interviews to the footage of myself and my peers, the genuine kindness and joy of the OSU Dance family is so evident, and I believe that these connections and relationships are what set our Department apart from others in the country – amongst the other amenities of Sullivant Hall.

Explore the Department through my eyes in the following video, and learn what being a BFA Buckeye is all about. Enjoy.
